Sam Barnett

Sam holds a PhD in neuroscience from Northwestern University and is the Chief Executive Officer of SBB Research Group, a quantitative investment firm with over $300 million under management. He developed his expertise at predictive analytics studying mathematics at Caltech, and has applied these skills in a variety of corporate and academic research environments.

Sam has been featured in Forbes Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Hedge Fund Alert, Hedgeweek, and other publications. He has also appeared on CNBC and Fox Business News, and has given lectures at Caltech, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Sam travels extensively as a world-ranked tennis player.

Moran Cerf

Moran Cerf is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management and the neuroscience program at Northwestern university. Additionally, he holds a position at the UCLA department of neurosurgery, where he works with patients undergoing brain-surgery to study behavior, emotion and decision making, by directly recording the activity of individual nerve cells using electrodes implanted in their brain.

Moran holds a PhD in neuroscience from Caltech, as well as an MA in Philosophy and a B.Sc in Physics from Tel-Aviv University. He holds multiple patents and his works have been published in wide-circulation journals such as Nature and Science, as well as Scientific American Mind and leading neuroscience journals. He has been featured in numerous media publications including CNN, Wired, BBC, Bloomberg, NPR, Time, and MSNBC.

Mitchell Lederer
Vice President

Mitchell Lederer joined the senior leadership team in 2018 as Vice President. During his career, Mitchell has served in executive leadership roles in numerous industries, including technology, advertising, finance, and professional services.

Most recently, Mitchell was the Chief Executive Officer of AgencyMSI, a Chicago-based marketing services firm which he prepared for a successful sale to a strategic buyer. Prior to AgencyMSI, Mitchell was a Senior Vice President at Valkre Solutions where he developed strategies for initial customers including GE, Amgen, Bayer and others. Mitchell held executive posts at Arthur Andersen, Tribune Company, and NewsEDGE Corporation, which he helped grow from start-up to its successful IPO. Mitchell holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Finance and Organizational Behavior, and a B.A. in Economics and Political Theory from Oberlin College.
