Q: Has the White House Eased Concerns?

A: Yes, for Republicans, but not for Democrats or Independents.

On average, Republicans reported that President Trump's administration has had a "mild positive impact" towards easing their concerns (0.67). However, Independents said that the White House has had a "mild negative impact" (-0.93) and Democrats felt even more strongly with an average score of -1.55 ("significant negative impact").

Approximately 28% of Republicans said the Trump administration has had a "significant positive impact" towards easing their concerns. Only 1% of Independents and no Democrats agreed with this sentiment.

In fact, the majority of Democrats (72%) and Independents (51%) said the opposite—that the White House has had a "significant negative impact" on them. One in ten Republicans also felt this way.
